Leaders of the State Council Entrust Officials of Departments Concerned to Visit and Console The Families in Beijing of Passengers Aboard the Missing Malaysia Airlines Flight

In the evening of March 20, 2014, entrusted by leaders of the State Council, officials from the General Office of the State Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Transport, the Civil Aviation Administration, the Beijing Municipality and others, headed for the Metro Park Lido Hotel in Beijing, the Jinglin Hotel and other three hotels to visit the families in Beijing of the Chinese passengers aboard the missing Malaysia Airlines flight. Officials of the departments concerned respectively briefed the families the work that has been done by the Chinese government since the incident of the loss of contact of the Malaysia Airlines flight and the current development of search and rescue work. They listened carefully to the ideas and suggestions of the passengers' families, and said that they will further implement the guiding spirit of leaders of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council to strengthen coordination and cooperation, continuously spare no efforts in search and rescue work and well serve the passengers' families.
