On February 28, 2014, Assistant Foreign Minister Qian Hongshan attended the reception marking the 62nd anniversary of Libyan National Day held by the Libyan Embassy in China at the invitation. He exchanged views on bilateral relations with Chargé d'Affaires of Libyan Embassy in China Omar M. O. Tantush. Both sides positively commented on China-Libya relations, and expressed the willingness to further strengthen practical cooperation in various fields so as to promote further development of the bilateral relations.
