On January 24, 2014, Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Davos, Switzerland.

　　Wang Yi conveyed sincere greetings from the Chinese leaders and expressed the hope that China and Israel will sturdily promote to build the governmental mechanism on economic and technical cooperation and achieve more concrete outcomes in the fields of high-tech, environmental protection, energy and others as soon as possible.

　　Netanyahu asked Wang Yi to convey his best wishes to Chinese leaders. He expressed that the Israeli side highly praises the development momentum of the bilateral relations and is willing to work with China to continuously advance institutionalized cooperation, and to explore new areas of infrastructure construction and labor service cooperation in construction industry. He hoped that both sides will make joint efforts to keep expanding the scale of bilateral economic and trade cooperation.

　　Both sides also exchanged views on Palestine-Israel peace talks, Iranian nuclear issue and other issues of common concern.
